We just can’t stop writing. These are some of the stories we’re writing now.
True:
Bad Traveller
Ten weeks. Twenty countries. Every mistake you can make.
The Pina Colliders
This is writing stories in the instant. The Pina Colliders is an improv comedy group Rachel Marriott co-founded in London. With the other Pinas (inspired by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey) Rachel has taken the show from basement theatres and rooms-above-a-bar, to the Canal Café Theatre, Improfest London, and their sell-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Z to Z
It’s the book of the ultimate Kiwi roadtrip. Travelling the full length of the world’s most beautiful country, from one Z service station to the next.
Fiction:
Tsunami of Stone
These are the mythical origins of the arrow-straight Kaimai range of mountains in New Zealand. Thrust from the plains by the fury of an ancient king, thousands of Aotearoa’s original mystical race have died on these slopes, trying to find the dawn sunlight that will carry them home. The last of them still remain.
Block Party
An enormous immovable block appears in the orbit of our planet. If Earth collides, it’s over.
The block has been set in place by the oldest, most lonely soul in the universe. Alone for billions of years, he is unfathomably bored, so he challenges the inhabitants of planets to excite him. No-one ever can, so he has left a trail of smashed planets and destroyed civilisations across galaxies. Now it’s our turn.
Will Earth’s high culture entertain him? Or will our survival depend on a young street choreographer and her dance crew – who are not even allowed to audition?
